Exotic Wood Craft is a proud boutique business, with over 30 years experience in cabinet making and joinery.

 

Historically  our projects have served the home decor and home improvement sector in kitchens, built in cupboards, wall units, studies/home offices, bathroom vanities, beds/headboards, bespoke furniture and furniture restoration and repairs.

 

Laurie Voigt  is the Sole Proprietor of Exotic Wood Craft  which started some 30 years ago. He is supported by two highly skilled Carpenters.

 

Welding of the steel bed base frame and the spring assisted lifting mechanism is outsourced to a professional steel fabricator.  The steel base and lifting mechanism is engineered to withstand daily use over many years.

Exotic Wood Craft has traditionally manufactured to our client's specifications and do not offer a set range of options to choose from.

 

As a wall bed client you are able to specify all aspects of your  build. Choose finish type, configuration of side cabinets (drawers bottom with open shelves top or drawers bottom with doors above or doors bottom and top, lighting options, crown moulding, raised panels on drawers/doors and handle choice etc.)

 

We boast a a fully equiped wood shop situated on a small holding in Rietfontein Jhb. Our low operating cost is part of the reason our pricing structure offers great value in the marketplace.
